From the board and management besides focussing on bringing best quality education to this part of India, we are also making efforts to provide quality education to poor and deprived children from the locality. With the continued support from the local community and well wishers, we are able to run this school since June 2007.

Remember that even today only 50% of secondary school-aged girls and 63% of boys in India are enrolled in secondary school. Children under 14 constitute around 3.6% of the total labour force in India. We consistently strive to help the students from poor and needy background, for the year 2011-2012 alone the management helped 90 students in the form of fee waivers and concessions to the tune of 150000 Rs (3000 $).

Besides this we are supported by a Jothiprakash annual merit award for toppers in classes 8th, 9th and 10th sponsored by Shoba Jothiprakash from Bangalore.

There are many ways for you to join our efforts and provide financial support to the Sree Saraswathi Educational Trust and Foundation.
